Description:
Very rarely offered candle, slow growing from Peru. It forms a straight trunk which ends in numerous branches.
Black-brown spines, bottle green epidermis.
The plants offered come from seedlings.
Origin: Pampa Barbara, Ayacucho, 2920m altitude, Péru.
Watering:
From spring to fall, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.
Substrate:
Well draining. Earth / compost 30%, draining minerals 70%.
Location:
Maximum light. Dim sunshine during heat spikes.
Minimum temperature:
Down to 0 C dry during winter.
