Description:
This cactus has fine articles (about 5mm in diameter) which can reach up to 1 meter. When adult, it forms shrubs with numerous articles. Despite its finesse, this cactus is very solid. Magnificent abundant red/orange flowers in spring. It appreciates copious watering in hot weather. The plants offered come from seedlings.
Watering:
From spring to fall, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.
Substrate:
Well draining. Earth / compost 30%, draining minerals 70%.
Location:
Maximum light. Dim sunshine during heat spikes.
