This gasteria is native to Barberton in South Africa. It has almost disappeared in its habitat. It is a magnificent collector’s plant. Slow growth.
Its dark green to black leaves have a very typical grainy surface. Certainly one of the most beautiful of its kind..
Watering:
From spring to fall, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.
Substrate:
Well draining. Earth / compost 50%, draining minerals 50%.
Location:
Maximum light. Dim sunshine during heat spikes. No full sun.
Minimum temperature:
Down to -2 ° C dry during winter.

Description :
Ce gasteria est originaire de Barberton en Afrique du Sud. Il a quasiment disparu dans son habitat. Il s’agit d’une magnifique plante de collection. Croissance lente.
Ses feuilles vert-sombre à noir ont une surface granuleuse très typique.
Il émet des rejets puis forme des groupes compacts. Certainement un des plus beaux du genre.
Arrosage :
Du printemps à l’automne en laissant sécher la terre entre les arrosages.
Substrat :
Bien drainant. Terre/terreau 50%, minéraux drainants 50 %.
Emplacement :
Maximum de lumière. Soleil tamisé pendant pendant les piques de chaleur.
Température minimum :
Jusqu’à – 2°C au sec pendant l’hiver.
