Description:
Candle cactus which can reach 10 meters in height in its habitat.
Its long, flexible and fine spines owe it the nickname ‘old man’s head’. Its growth is very slow, production is very limited because the seeds of this cactus are difficult to find.
The plants offered come from seedlings and are approximately 8 years old.
Watering:
From spring to fall, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.
Substrate:
Well draining. Earth / compost 30%, draining minerals 70%.
Location:
Maximum light. Dim sunshine during heat spikes.
Minimum temperature:
Down to -10 C dry during winter.
