Aloe pictifolia

Description:
This small Aloe reaches about 30 cm in adulthood, it forms small compact groups. The bluish green leaves are speckled with white. Their color can turn pink and brown during periods of sunshine. It grows on steep quartz cliffs sometimes inaccessible in the eastern part of Cape Town. It is not common in culture.

Watering:
From spring to fall, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Observe a summer rest in the event of strong heat. Light watering in winter.

Substrate:
Well draining. Earth / compost 50%, draining minerals 50%.

Location:
Maximum light. Dim sunshine during heat spikes.

Minimum temperature:
Down to 0 ° C dry during winter.
