Aeonium smithii

Description:

It is found in the sparse pine forests on the way up Teide on the island of Tenerife. This delicate Aeonium forms a shrub about thirty centimeters high. Its stems are covered with hairs. The undersides of the wavy leaves are streaked with red and brown spots. The rosettes measure 6 to 10 cm. Its culture is delicate, it will enter into vegetative rest during the hot summer months.

Watering:
From late summer to spring. Reduce watering during winter if temperatures are below 10 ° C.

Substrate:
Well draining. Earth / compost 50%, draining minerals 50%.

Location:
Lot of light. Dim sunshine during heat spikes.
