Description:
3 year old seedling. The seeds come from our old mother plants from the Exotica nursery (Specks). This form of Dorstenia hildebrandtii develops a reddish-brown caudiciform base measuring about fifteen centimeters in diameter in mature individuals. The stems can reach 50 cm high. The stems can be cut back at the end of winter to keep a stockier shape during vegetative recovery.
Watering:
From spring to fall, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.
Substrate:
Well draining. Earth / compost 50%, draining minerals 50%.
Location:
Maximum light. Dim sunshine during heat spikes.
Minimum temperature:
Down to +5 ° C dry during winter.
