Aloe striata

Description:
This stemless, solitary Aloe originates from South Africa. Named Aloe ‘coral’ (leaf and flower color) it can reach up to 70 cm in diameter. The leaves are wide, long and thick. The edges of the leaves are pink in color. Superb multi-branched ‘coral’ colored flowering that can reach 1 meter in height. Sheltered from the rain, this Aloe withstands temperatures down to -6°C. The plant reproduces only by seed. 

Watering:
From spring to fall, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings.

Substrate:
Well draining. Earth / compost 50%, draining minerals 50%.

Location:
Maximum light. Dim sunshine during heat spikes.

Minimum temperature:
Down to 0° C dry during winter.
